For Far North locals, Townsville is four hours down the highway, and sometimes exactly where the van or boat needs to be. Heading south for work stints, storing between coastal trips, or wanting the rig out of the tropical wet’s worst: a monitored bay in Bohle does the job.
Boaties use us as a halfway base for the central reef sections; caravanners drop the van here before flying out of Townsville’s bigger airport. Whatever the pattern, the arrangement is the same: numbered bay, coded gate, 24/7 CCTV, staff-guided movements.
