From the Gold Coast, North Queensland is a serious tow: 1,400 km each way, most of it two-lane Bruce Highway shared with road trains. Doing that twice a year, just so the van can sit idle at home through the wet season, is the least fun part of the northern migration.
Storing with us in Townsville flips the trip: your van stays where the winters are warm, and you travel up light. Jetstar and Virgin both fly Coolangatta to Townsville; plenty of our southern customers land at lunchtime and are set up in a caravan park by dinner.
